me as at the age of 25

working plus studying part time is definitely not an easy task. woke up at wee hours (4 am - 5 am), or staying up until 1 am - 2 am for my studies is not uncommon. it is tough because you need to get back to work when its time, and at the same time, adjust your mind to the 'working' state.

when i first started off studying in the end of apr (if not wrong), many friends and colleague couldn't cope with the new me. i have to leave early for classes, goes on medical leave when i strain myself too hard on my studies, or even lunch in - while doing my own work quietly, reject frens outings, losing temper very quickly.. to sum it up, one thing that's for sure.. my social life suffers. i've got supportive friends as well as not so supportive ones.. and it is sad to realize that my choice has actually kept our friendship apart. and my leaves that i used to go for holidays and back home are now all utilised for my studies - assignments, exams.. and i've not been home since May! =(

however, i enjoy school & learning new things, well.. as for this sem, i get to learn more on myself, and people! i need to learn to accept the fact that everyone of us is difference, all of us are made up from different past experiences, background, personality, these are all tools to shape up a person. tigers hunt alone, where else ants form colonials. the tigers are facing extinction now, where else ants don't. the same theory applies to human, we all cannot survive alone, and we need to adapt to each other.

and here i am, supplied with the tools, and i'm trying it on my colleagues last week :p it works! in fact, i was being so insensitive towards their feelings for the past few months, and now, when i start caring about them again, they started to treat me differently.

colleagues thrown me a surprise bday party for me on my bday. it is not so surprised because i've caught them behind the act :p however, i appreciate their kind efforts and intentions.

spoken to amy few days ago, and she told me how much i've changed.. or a more appropriate word would be GROWN UP! haha! i really wish growing up is so easy.. but actually its not. there's really alot of hidden 'system downtime'. but life is just like the electrocardiography, as long as ur heart is still beating, there is always ups and downs for sure.

well next aim would be managing my own impatience. phew, a very bad habit since i was a kid. but, i'm gonna change this.
